Is the South Korean sensation that has got the whole world talking. The life story of one young woman born at the end of the twentieth century raises questions about endemic misogyny and institucional oppression that are relevant to us all.
Riveting, original and uncompromising, this is the most important book to have emerged from South Korea since Han Kang's The Vegetarian."

Opinião:
his wife of three years, whom he married after two years of passionate romance, felt like someone else.
She went over the stories of incidents that she had suffered because of him, and still couldn't make sense of what the teacher was saying. If you like someone, you're friendlier and nicer to them.
Suggest to the teacher? Are we allowed to say something like that to the teacher?
Just as we never question why men's national registry numbers begin with a '1' and women's begin with a '2'.
Jiyoung didn't know where to even begin, nor did she want to start an argument that would go nowhere, so she leaned back and closed her eyes.
