Opinião:

Há uns anos vi a adaptação cinematrográfica do livro: "Dead Poets Society" de N.H. Kleinbaum. E, sabia que mais tarde ou mais cedo iria ler o livro. Uma verdadeira bookaholic não tem como fugir desta vontade de emergir no mundo das palavras num papel.

They're not that different than any of you, are they? Hope in their eyes, just like yours.

Fiquei encantada com o conceito do carpe diem, com a grande paixão pela poesia que carateriza o professor John Keating e que consequentemente, vibra nos corações dos seus alunos. Torna-se num modo de viver porque viver só vale a pena se for para ser extraordinária.

But poetry, romance, love, beauty? These are what we stay alive for!

Foi uma boa experiência tanto do livro como do filme e, acho que a essência do professor de inglês só poderia ser mesmo protagonizada pelo Robin Williams. Porém, adorei igualmente o livro uma vez que me permitiu sentir mais de perto a paixão pelos livros.
