Ainda continuo a acompanhar o romance de Nick and Charlie da autoria de Alice Oseman. Desta vez, não no fomato de banda-desenhada, mas escrito no formato de um romance.

We sit at the end of the pier again and watch the sunset.

Acho que o romance deles é muito juvenil e isso reflete-se em grande parte das preocupações do Charlie, mas não descuro essa ansiedade e no fundo desassossego porque acho que faz parte dos primeiros amores.

Willing to put aside my apathy for the sake of romance.

Neste livro, a grande aflição de Charlie é o facto de lidar com a futura partida do Nick para a universidade pela questão da sobrevivência da relação a longa distãncia. Não só por serem novas e por existir muitas aventuras e experiências pela frente como por não querer desistir do que criaram com o seu amor.

He'd just be heartbroken.

No geral, a escritora manteve-se fiel à premissa original dos livros e portanto, não existe dúvidas sobre o que podemos encontrar no fim deste livro. A parte boa é que podemos ler romances como este que encaixam perfeitamente no dia a dia.
