Mais uma (boa) releitura de 2021. Este livro é mais antigo que o blog e as suas folhas já começam a amarelar o que automaticamente me levou a pegar nele depois de alguns anitos. Li este livro pela primeira vez em 2018 e continuo a gostar tanto dele como da primeira vez.

Nasty Women, é um livro lindíssimo e recheado de vozes poderosas no século XXI. Por outras palavras, é uma coletânea de ensaios em que várias mulheres se juntaram para partilhar pequenos momentos pessoais em que foram chamadas de - Nasty Womens - em algum momento das suas vidas.

Write who we are, what our bodies can and cannot do, and what we want to do with them, without shame or apology.

É precioso. É uma corrente de eletricidade na medida em que cada uma destas nasty women vêem os seus (pequenos) mundos de cabeça para baixo, choram, levantam-se e estão prontas para continuar a lutar por cada direito (nosso).

You can't choose where and when you're born, of course, but you make choices and deal with the consequences of other people's choices in all the years after that.
