Depois de ter lido: "These Witches don't burn" e antes de continuar com "This Coven Won't Break" (onde já podem encontrar a opinião) decidi ler a prequela "This Spell Can't Last" de Isabel Sterling a fim de compreender o que tanto tinha acontecido em Nova Iorque e consequentemente, magoado Hannah.

The ocean, more than anywhere else in this giant city, feels like home.

A autora em apenas noventa e cinco páginas conta exatamente o sucedido e explica o que cada uma das personagens sentiu. Eu não podia estar mais de acordo com a nossa personagem principal e a Gemma (a sua melhor amiga) ajuda-a a ver que estar numa relação nem sempre tem o melhor outcome para nós. 

You can't wait for someone else to fix things.

Gostei muito de ler os livros de Isabel Sterling e só me resta ter esperança que a autora já esteja a trabalhar noutros títulos. A vida de leitor também é complicada :) Posso dizer que vale a pena ler a prequela para conseguirmos compreender a decisão de Hannah e claro, do impacto negativo que a ida a Nova Iorque teve.
